Show Storms Furnish Needed Moisture The storms of ths past week have brought much needed moisture to the ranges and farms, .but livestock men ore hoping for more storm-; as the ranges have been very dry and there Is not nearly a normal depth of snow In the mountains. While there was not much storm in Cedar Valley, it seems to havj been heavier in other places.' The road to the mines at Iron Mountain were closed for a couple "of day; when the first of the storm struck, with a good fall of snow drifting badly. Sheepmen report a good fall on the Nevada ranges, and it s reported re-ported that the Dixie and Arizona strip country received considerable moisture. Highway 89 between Pangultch and Kanab was closed with the snow fall, and it Is expected that this would' extend well Into the mountain area between Midway and Long Valley. More than three feet of snow was reported at the coal mine In Cedar canyon. |
