Show Funeral Services Held Today For Mrs. Adelia Gardner Funeral Services were held this afternoon for Mrs. Adelia Mof-1 fatt Oardner, 45, wife of Fernlelgh Gardner, who died Monday after-1 noon following three weeks illness from a paralytic stroke. Mrs. Gardner was torn in Or-angeville, Or-angeville, Emery county, Utah, on August 21, 1899, a daughter of Wal-ace Wal-ace R. and Vivian Sldwell Moffatt. After receiving her early education educa-tion In Orangeville she attended the Manti high school, and later trained at the L. D. S. Hosplal Nursing school at Salt Lake City. After graduating from the nursing school she acted as supervisor of nurses at the L. D. S. hospital. She came to Cedar City In 1923 as an employee at the Iron county hospital. After spending a year and a half here, she did nursing wook In California for a year. On July 1, 1925, she married Fernlelgh Fern-lelgh Gardner in the Salt Lake Temple and had resided here since. Surlving are her husband and two daughters, Fern and Lois Oardner Oard-ner of Cedar City; her mother of Orangeville, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Vivian Curtiss and Corine Moffatt, Orangeville; Or-angeville; Wallace R. Moffatt. Bon-ita, Bon-ita, Uintah County; Bruce Moffatt, Salt Lake City; Andrew Moffatt; Murray, and Mrs. Melba Jones of Payson. The services were conducted by Bp. J. Clair Piatt of the Fourth Ward, and Included the following program: Invocation by Bp. Wm. Snow. tfocal solo. "Coming Home" by Mile Walker, accompanied by Mrs. Beth Leigh. Talk by Bp. J. Clair Piatt. Talk by President D. L. Sargent. Vocal solo by Mrs. Hazel Granger, accompanied by Mrs. Virginia Larson. Lar-son. Talk by Miss Unna Snow. Violin aolo, "The Rosary", by Roy L, Halversen, accompanied by Frank Van Cott. Talk by Henry L. Jones. Song. "There's a Beautiful Country", Coun-try", by a double mixed quartet. Mrs. Annette Betensen. Mrs. Zel-ma Zel-ma Lunt. Mrs. Hazel Granger, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Howard, Herchell Neeley, L. C. Miles and George Hess, accompanied by Mrs. Virginia Larson.
