Show New Harmony The speaker In Church Sunday was Elder Carlos Schmutz who has just returned from a mission li Tennessee. Elder Schmutz related some of his experiences while he was away. Following his talk, his father and mother each spoke briefly. brief-ly. Our Gold and Green Ball will be held Saturday, January 31st., with Miss Camilla Pace as queen. A cottage meeting was held last Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clark B. Pace. Several Sever-al Stake officers and people from Enoch and Kanarra were In attendance. attend-ance. Mrs. Lurene P. Taylor received word from St. George that her son-in-law, William P. Cottam, had been taken to Salt Lake' City to receive medical treatment for his eye which was injured when he was kicked by a horse in December. De-cember. The sewing club was held at the home of Mrs. Sylvia Pace last Thursday. Clark B. Pace and son Vance have gone to Ogden to visit for a few days with Mr. Pace's sister, Mrs. Merle P. Oken and Mrs. Minnie Min-nie P. Macfarlane. Mrs. Hazel Stapley of Beaver Is here visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George F. Prince. Mr. and Mrs. Frank P. Kelsey spent Saturday in Cedar City visiting vis-iting with friends. , |
