Show NEW GAMBLE STORE TO OPEN SOO IN W1IITTAKER BUILDING F. O. Paul of Driggs, Idaho, made arrangements this week to rent the store in the Whittaker Building formerly for-merly occupied by the Sprouse-Reitz Sprouse-Reitz company. In which he will open a Gamble store early In February. Feb-ruary. Mr. Paul, who has had 25 years experience in the merchandising business, returned to Driggs Tuesday Tues-day to complete arrangements for his move to Cedar City. He plans to move to Cedar City about January Jan-uary 25th, and will open his new store as soon after the first of February Feb-ruary as possible. He stated that he had selected Cedar City as his new location for two reasons, first, because it is a progressive city with a promising business future, and second, sec-ond, because Cedar City offers an Ideal outlet for the art work of his wife, Mrs. Ethel S. Straser Paul. Mrs. Paul has hung her art work in recent local art exhibits, and feels that Cedar City offers good opportunities in this field. It Is the plan of Mr. and Mrs. Paul to combine com-bine an art department with their new merchandising venture. $ |
