Show Ben. Smith's family are leaving here and moving back to their old homo in Cowley, Wyoming. . Frank and Bryant Hendricks, and Harry 0. Willhide of Beryl, were hero Tuesday attending to land business. Dr. Burton reports the arrival of a thirteen pound boy at the homo of W. G. Ward. All concerned doing nicely. Clarence and' Alvin Norris of Cal-lento Cal-lento were here this week attending the funeral services of their father, William Norris. Alonzo R. Yoeman and Charles W. Booth were in Parowan Wednesday, making final proof on land entries, on the desert near Lund. Edward M. Owens, Mrs. Alice Mc-Bride, Mc-Bride, Susie Stones, Mary Barton, Mr. and Mrs. R. Robinson, of Paragonah, were in Parowan attending to business on Wednesday. H J. Samuel Hanks of Milford was in the city Wednesday, and while here sold his home to Dr. Green. Mr. Hanks has purchased a homo In Mil-ford Mil-ford and has gone into business there. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Cochrane and Miss Fern Thornton are leaving in a few days for Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Cochrane expect to locate thero. Miss Thornton goes to attend high school. Owing to tho fact that the building was not in readiness tho "Parowan Times" will not come out this week, as reported bu will bo ono week later. Already somo work has been turned off and everything is in good working order. Frank Matheson and Golda Pritchard have been employed as office help. W. II. Boulangeo, tho aged mun who was stricken with paralysis several months ago, died last Thursday as a result of a second stroke. No traco having been found of any of his relatives, rel-atives, Tie has been a county charge since his first illness. Short services were1 held at tho cemetery Saturday morning. Steven. G. Thornton gave a short talk, Dr. Green read ono of, tho Psalms and Bishop J. L. Adams dedicated tho grave. Mr. Boulangeo was born in France, was an educated man, being able before his illness to speak seven languages. Owing to a loss of memory lie was unablo to locate lo-cate his two daughters, who he claims are somewhere in tho United States, having returned hero after finishing their education in Paris. |
