Show August is gone, September is hero. Judging from past years, tho backbone back-bone of tho summer is broken, and from now on we may look for pleas-anter pleas-anter weather. There will bo a month or so of weather in which tho flies will remnin troublesome, and tho Weather a littlo warm for comfort, at times, and then comes that delightful season of all tho year, known as autumn, or Indian summer, in which the days und nights aro neither too warm nor too cold, whon tho fruit and melons still lingor, when tho moon-light Is brightest, the bins and storehouses arc filled with tho goldon products of Mother Earth, and when all nature seems filled with the goodness of tho world. To our mind, thoro is nothing noth-ing in tho climate of a tropical zone to comparo with this period of our four season climate. "" |
