Two car loads of Washington county coun-ty boys passed through here yesterday yester-day on their way to the training camp. Berry Williams and family went to the mountain today to spend a few days at Mr. Williams' sheep camp J. Wennie Davis left here last Wednesday Wed-nesday for service with the U. S. army. ar-my. He will receive training at Cump Lewis, Washington. 0 0 0 Three large herds of cattle have passed through here the past week en route to Lund, for shipment to the eastern markets. Bo expects to go again next week. 0 Mesdames Junius and John Henry Williams return home today from the Southern Utah Hospital at Cedar City, where they were both operated on June 16th. Mrs. Francis Littletield of California Califor-nia is here on a visit to her relatives and friends. She is a daughter of our ex-Bishop, Patterson Willis, now of Henrieville, Utah. 0 0 0 Will C. Reeves was up to the coal mine this week getting out coal for the Reber & Staheli threshing machine, ma-chine, but received an accidental pick wound in one of his knees which will luy him up for ten days and work at the mine will not be resumed until some time next week. |
