Show B Birlhary Pleases the People. B Tho second attraction of the Ly- K ceum course gave good satisfaction H to a large audience in the Social Hall jfl last Monday evening. Mr. Beilhary B is an impersonator of the highest or- m der, and the manner in which he let jfl his own personality fado away into fl that of his characters pleased the nu- fl dlence immensely. During tho ev- B enlng he represented about twelve S characters most of which wero alonr fl comedy lines, and even tho difficult fl and staid person did not And it very fl hard to laugh frequently at the say- fl ings of the quaint and humorous per- K sons who came and went at the en fl tertainer's pleasure. The changes fl were made by facial expression and H change of voice, assisted by wigs, fl beards, etc. fl The Jew was considered Mr. Bell- fl hary's best characterization, and was fl certainly true to the popular concep- B tion of that race. B The next number on the course will B be Dr. James McLaren, the dramatic orator of California, which, besides I being an entertainment of the highest S class, will be instructive and furniBh 9 much food for thought. |
