Show GRIM REAPER CALLS 11 1 fill Pernicious Enemia of Some Years1 Standing Responsible for Death of Mrs. Jo . L. Bess. This morning at three o'clock Mrs. Agnei Webster BeSS, wife of Joseph I L. Hess of this city, passed to the I great beyond, leaving a husband and ir small sons, as well as n large Circle of other relatives and friends to I mourn her departure. Mrs. Bess's ill tlth dates back a number of years and was due to pernicious enemia. A premature birth of a child, which took place a few days ago, hastened her demise, but was not the principal factor. fac-tor. Mrs. Bess was a young woman, scarcely in her prime, and was a quiet, unostentatious industrious woman. lr. Macfarlane was called into the case a few days ago, and did everything every-thing possible for her during her last illness, but her condition was hopeless, and death finally relieved her of her llfTering as above stated.
