Show INSPECTING MOUNDS OF SOUTHERN UTAH Representative of Smithsonian Institute Insti-tute and Other Students on Extensive Tour. Last Tuesday Mr. Ncul Judd, representing rep-resenting the Smithsonian Institute, and accompanied by Chas. W. Snow, debating coach at the University of I Utah prior to tho exodus of profes-'sors profes-'sors duo to the recent disagreement, and Mr. McCarry, a student of the University who wub with Dean Cum-mlngs Cum-mlngs last summer on an extended tour of exploration, wore in Codar City on a tour of the mounds of southern Utah, working their way south. Last year Mr. Judd was In the South American countries exploring the mounds und looking for othor evidences of interest of the previous inhabitants of this continent, and has ; had such an extended experienco that i he can almost instantly detect from the surface indications tho mounds that urc likoly to yield articles of interest in-terest to his Institution. Ho worked tho mounds adjacent to this and tho other southern countries. Ho will spend only a few weeks on this tour. Professor Snow of tho party has been engaged to tench In tho Columbia University of Now York next winter, |
