Show MARRIED PEOPLE ARE WELCOMED TO DANCES A statement was made at the married mar-ried people's dance Wednesday even-! ing which should interest all the married mar-ried people in Cedar who are live enough to have n good time. Mr. Forbes said, "Ladies and gentlemen,-it gentlemen,-it is certainly a pleasure to see you here tonight and we want you to come out to the dances and enjoy your-, selves with the young people. It will not cost you a cent; all we want is your company and we'll try to show you a good time if you will let us." This was, needless to say, followed by hearty applause which showed that the married people in attendance appreciated ap-preciated the courtesy shown them. But just why the married people should expect or receive their enter-taiiigBJt enter-taiiigBJt free while the single fellows payoff are unable to understand, unless un-less it is because it is recognized that in a great many cases it ll the mar ried men who pay the tiddler, when-young when-young chaps dance. However this may be, it It pleasing (to note that the attendance of married people at our dames is increasing, and a bemlicial effect i- bound to re-' re-' suit. Well, why not get away from your cares and troubles for an hour or two occasionally, and enjoy a little healthful recreation. It will help to keep you young. a |
