We learn that a great many persons are mortgaging their homes or farms to buy an automobile, auto-mobile, and in some cases quite expensive ex-pensive cars, who have found it all that they could do to make a living in the past, without this added expense, and liavo heretofore been unable to lay aside any part of the purchase price. Under such circumstances, how con such persons ever expect to pay off the obligation they have or arc contemplating con-templating assuming? Wo believe that wo aie all entitled to4 all the nloasuro we can get out of this life, but it is well to be consistent, and not load ourselves down with a burden of hopeless debt and incident worry in our chnse after fleeting pleasures that may afford no adequate e'quivalcnt. |
