So far M as could be ascertained the thief ob- M lamed nothing whatever from the M Drug Store. The youthful burglar M was evidently after cash only, and H the change was all locked up in the safe. At Biederman's he obtained r0 H pennies which were done up in rolls of M Uf pennies each. The prepious burg- WU laries were scarcely more lucrative. M Pear entrances doors and win- M dows have been his long suit. The merchants and husiiiess men of V W i Cedar City should profit by this in I expensive lesson, and see that some H i more adequate protection is afforded M for their places of business. When a fkl I Im)- 13 years oh cui enter of them H in succession and get off with it. it is M certainly time that more effectual ""'" -""H measures of protection were adopted. H A Utth noney could profitably be ex H ; penUed Q bolts and bars ami Ix-tter M locks, and it is probable that a night watchman might save more than the H amount .,( r,j8 salary. We suggest : that the business men take the mat- I ter under advisement. M aH |
