Show A JOLLY EVENING IS SPENT AT ENOCH. Big Crowd of Cedar People Attend Dance andVic Nic There LastNight. A jolly good time was enjoyod at Enoch lost evening by about three dozen Cedar people who went out fn response to an invitation tendered by tho goocl people of that place to participate par-ticipate in a dance and picnic given by tho Relief Society of that ward. Be-acle Be-acle of the loaves and the fishes, after pie went out in buggies. Tho visitors included the bishops of both east and west wards, tho O. N. Oi's, the O. D. O.'s, and the good Lord knows who all including tho editors of both the papers. That tho EAoch ped'plb know hbWto entertain was plainly manifested by the hearty welcome, the genial sociability soci-ability and generous provlBidif of viands. Of the latter, like the' mir-tho mir-tho multitude had eaten and were filled, fil-led, sufficient remained to have performed per-formed tho feat over again. Enoch's neat, commodious, little hall, which serves also as tho meeting place, niTords amplo accommodations for such a gathering. Thb floor is good, and the Enoch Orchestra, with tho old veteran leader, John L. Jones, is too well known to require special mention. Everything went off without with-out a hitch, and tho guests departed with a hearty invitation to "Come again," which wc are sure they kill be most willing to do. Tho auto ride of seven miles each way on a fairly good road added .spice to tho outing. |
