Show uTSQgPT. Or AGRICULTURE i Cauliflower. The cauliflower requires a rich, moist soil, and thrives best under Irrt gallon. It will not withstand ns much frost as cabbage, but Is very sensitive to hot weather. To make a success of the crop It Is best to plant It about ! the time of the last killing frost In' spring, using plants grown in the hotbed hot-bed or window box. This gives It time to mature before hot weather comes. The rows need not be more than 2 to 8 feet apart for horse cultivation, ' or 24 to 30 Inches apart for hand work. The plants should be from 14 to 18 Inches apart In rows. The culture is the same aa for cabbage until the heads begin to develop, after which the leaves may be tied together over the heads to exclude the light and keep heads white.
