M On Monday, April 0, botween 4 and M 5 o'clock in tho afternoon Loland, the H eleven-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. H Samuel A. Haltorman, mot a tragic 1 death by being thrown from a horso fl and dragged for several hundred feet. Tho accident occurred in the north- M western part of tho city and was wit- M ncsscd by several persons, who rushed H to his assistance but to no avail, as H death claimed him within a short time H after he was picked up. Dr. McGreg- H or, who was immediately summoned, M rushed to tho scene1 of tho accident, H but could do very little to reliove the H sufferer, and callod a passing vehicle ll to havo him conveyod home, where he passed away just as he waa being 1 carried into tho house. :H Tho parents aro prostrated with v SH grief over this very sad occurrence, ' ItH and the sinccro sympathy of the entire j H community id extended to them. H A pathetic feature of the service H was tho presentation of a beautiful H floral offering by his classmates at H school, who also marched of tor tho H hearse from his home to tho cemetery. H |
