Tho tentative plans for a building 70 by 100 feet, comprising a first floor and a full cement basemont, have been drawn by Architect Randall L. Jones of Cedar City, who will accompany Superintendent Wilforcl Day on a tour of inspection noxt week in Mr. Day's private car through tho state as far as Salt Lake City, the object being be-ing to obtain all the best and most modern ideas on store construction and arrangement, the beat of which wlli bo Incorporated into tho now Parowan Par-owan store, That the Cp-op. is in need of n new building to take caro of thqjr vapidly growing business is abundantly borne out by a visit to tholr prcsont bas.e-ment bas.e-ment and other wa.ro rooms, which arq crpwdod to tho ljjnH. A nev and permanent shed 100 by 20 feet, in which t hpusc farm machinery, has just been competed, and when the projected now store is completed, the Co-op. will compare favorably with tho best stores in the southern part of the state. The pew hujldjng will bo erected just south of the old building, which they will cpntinup to use until tho now building is ready, |
