Show The writer was much pleased and interested by a visit to the Young Ladies' AL 1. A. meeting of the East Ward last Sunday evening. The singing was under the efficient direction of Prof. Roylance, which insures success in those lines. The preliminary program consisted of two good musical numbers, vocal solos, by Mr. Frisby and Miss Iona Lunt, and an interesting talk by Stake President Allie Knell. Senior class members were considering consid-ering a literary lesson on "Literature of the Bible," which is the outlined subject for this branch of the work for the season. The class leader had the subject thoroughly in hand, showing show-ing careful preparation, and the interest in-terest and responses from the class was good to see. We were told that the theological lessons under the efficient ef-ficient management of their class I leader, Mrs. J. U. Webster, was combining practical and entertaining features with the theology of the regular reg-ular lesson. c Steps were taken towards petition-ing petition-ing the bishopric to have the class room cleaned and papered and made more inviting. Mrs. Webster who j was formerly a teacher of physical culture at the A. C. of Logan, made an appointment to meet the members of her class at the local swimming pool once a month and give them some lessons on swimming, etc., free of charge. Both class rooms were full, but the j Officers expressed their willingness to provide seats for any other members j of the ward who are looking for the best place to spend their Sunday ev-1 eninge.
