Show I NORMAL NOTES. Last Friday evening the Alumni party was greatly en- ; joyed. In Chapel Gordon Mathe- son gave a sacred song, the , orchestra played for the first time ths year, and Mr. J. Reuben Clark talked. if ', We were delighted to have Mr. Clark, our formerprincipal. visit us last week. We are glad to ; ' know that he is now solicitor ,v General of the Department of State at Washington D. CM and that his work for the nation has won for him a great reputation. In chapel he explained carefully care-fully and interestingly the .v. ', organization of the State depart- ?l- ment, its duties, and the methods --' employed to faciliate business. We hope we may be. favored with other visits from Mr. ' ' Clark, and we wish his great success to continue. His example should be a great inspiration to all the youths of Utah. |
