Show wellington death summoned one of welling tons highly respected and prominent young men sunday evening jan 4 1014 1914 at about 7 in the pe person of joseph taylor grundvig hie his death was caused from dilatation of tho the heart from which deceased had bad buffered for some time joseph taylor grundvig was born march 29 1893 in wellington his parents mr and mrs S 11 II 1 grundvig being among the first to settle here taylor as a ho he was always called was loved by his many warm friends for bis his industry high ideals and kind disposition he had a longing for a good education being among the few who remained in high school last year from wellington ho he was also attending the corbon county high school this year riding back and forth from wellington but about six six i weeks prior to his death he was advised by the principal le roy cowles to discontinue school on account of his physical condition which he did he was bedfast about two weeks previous to his death and was attended by dr A 0 during the course of his illness several physicians attended him including dr dowd of sunnyside Sunny side and dr fisk of price the death of joseph taylor grundvig has caused a gloom to come to the citizens of wellington he being born and raised here it seems as if departing from a brother it is said that taylor being so devoted to his parents brothers and sisters that he has never been away from home longer than a month at a time As a kind dutiful and loving son and brother taylor will be greatly missed at his home and as a virtuous devoted and chee cheerful companion bis his death will be lamented by the citizens of wellington all was done by mr grundvig and his family that can be done on this earth to preserve life the funeral services will be held in the L D S church thursday jan esth last saturday night a birthday party was given in honor of mr geo W sweet A large crowd of wellington prominent young people participated in the festivities song recitations music and feasting cheered the gathering until a late hour at night monday morning january janary fth the wellin wellington 9 ton schools in all the departments resumed work the many bright faces of the children are indicative dica tive of health and good school work after their christmas vacation S W GOLDING correspondent mr and sirs mrs J JW YV williams parents of sammy Yr williams illiams of this city who have been ithe company boarding house hous at mohrland Mohra and for the past ye year mr ha haw tx parc purchased 7 used the fixtures of the alaid are moving them to helper where they will soon open a restaurant |
