Show CHANGE IN MANAGEMENT OF WARD HALL IN EFFECT Mr. R. T. Forbes who has so successful suc-cessful mannged the Waid Hall dances the past winter, ended his contract last Saturday night with a big dance nt the Hall at which both the Perry and Johnson orchestras played. The arrangement was something some-thing out of the ordinary, Johnson taking the pit in the west end nnd Perry the balcony in the east end. As was advertised, the dancing was continuous, the orchestras taking turn about for every two dances. Needless to sny everyone enjoyed the evening, especially so, those who like no waits. The music seemed better thnn ever and jazzy to suit the most particular, and it was hinted that perhaps because of the excellent quality qual-ity of the music, the orchestras appeared ap-peared to vie with each other and each gave their best, which was, "sure some swell music, I'll say so." The dances at the Ward Hall this winter have been all thnt could he desired for good clean amusement nnd Mr. Forbes has done a great deal toward making them enjoyable. His resignation as manager will bo regrctr ted very much. The new manager, Mr. G. L. Janson, who hns managed the dances nt the B. A. C. for the past year or so will take over tho Ward Hall and we wish him every success in tho undertaking. |
