Show COUNTY SOLONS HOIMSSIONS Co. Hospital and Road Improvement Improve-ment Program Were Matters of Most Importance. . A special meeting of tho board of county commissioners of Iron county met in the court room of the county court houso nt Parownn. Utah, Fob. 15 at 10 n. m. Those present were, Commissioners II. W. Lunt, nnd II. L. Adams. E. II. Ryan, Attorney, Alfred Froyd, Sheriff. Sher-iff. Commissioner Lund received n notification of this meeting but for some unknown cause was not present. Tho committee nppointed by the commissioners to confer witn tho state road officials, gave their official report of tho visit with tho commission, commis-sion, which report was very favorable. Tho county road bond was discussed nt somo length by tho commissioners nnd the matter of bonding tho county for that purpose was passed upon by those present of the commission. commis-sion. A committee of four, consisting of Representative Dny, Senator Jones, Atorney Ryan and Chairman Lunt wns appointed to wait upon the state road commission the following Tucsdny Tucs-dny to consider the details of road building within the county. Tho clerk wns instructed to write tho commis-sison commis-sison of this nction, nnd nscertnin if such nn nppointment might bo made. On motion of commissioner Adams tho treasurer was instructed to deduct tho proportion of taxes duo of 250 head of sheep, assessed to Fred Perry for tho year 1920, such assessment being erroneous. A committee representing tho Co. hospital movement of Iron county met with the county board to consider tho hospital bond. Tho previous movement move-ment hnving been dcclnrcd unconstitutional unconsti-tutional by the Palmer Bonding Houso to which the hospital bonds hnd been contnetcd. Should tho county have voted tho same. It was decided that these bonds bo brought before tho people of Iron county with the county road bond issue. W. Warner Mitchell wns appointed deputy nsscsor for Iron County. Trnnscient stock clnims from Kane and Washington counties were allowed. The sheriff was instructed to hnve tho county road supervisor of Iron county furnish the prisoner now in the county jnil .with work on the county roads. The mnttor of tho treasurers bond with tho American Surety company came up. Tho tensurcr was authorized author-ized to "inform" the said compnriy 1,0 refund pro rntn for same, and tho county commissioners would relcnse them from further obligntion.
