Mrii-dp committee on city affairs, and the order was made by Pres. U. T. Jones to that effect. The question of having some phamplets printed showing the resources of Iron County was brought up. After a little talk from several members who claimed that it was the proper thing to advertise, Geo. W. Decker moved that 10,000 of these phamplets be printed and sent broadcast to where they would do the most good. There was no second and the motion fell to the floor with a dull thud. The matter will probably be taken up by the Publicity committee. com-mittee. During the course of the meeting meet-ing Pres. U. T. Jones took occasion occa-sion to say that the club must do business more expeditiously. He said, "we must talk to the point and do business; not let the meetings drag or we will be apt to kill the club." (No truer truism was ever spoken, not even ev-en by the immortal Washington.) |
