Show ITALIAN CAMMOR1STS FOUND GUILTY Viterbo, Italy, July 8. The Camorists who have been on trial for nearly, two years on the charge of having murdered Gen-naro Gen-naro Cuocolo and his wife in June, 1906, were today adjudged guilty in varying degrees. The verdict declares Corrado Sortino guilty of both murders; Nicolo Morra, Antonio Corrato and Mariano Ma-riano Di Gennaro guilty of the murder of Cuocolo, and Giuseppe Salvi guilty of the murder of Cuocolo's wife. The president of the court sentenced sen-tenced the condemned men. Sortino, Sor-tino, Merrato, Salvi, Morra, Di-gennaro, Di-gennaro, Alfano, Rapi and Di Marinas were sentenced to thirty years' imprisonment and to ten years police surveillance each; Di Mattio to ten years and six months imprisonment; Ascritore to ten years imprisonment dnd three years surveiljance; Vitozzi, the priest, seven yvears imprisonment imprison-ment and two yeas- surveillance; the others to five :ears imprisonment imprison-ment and three ears surveillance. surveill-ance. ! |
