Show Summit Notes Summit, Utah, Oct. 11. School commencod on tho 0th inst., with Prof. John II. Dalley j as Principal. Mrs. Beecroft of New Mexico j is hero visiting with her mother, Mrs. Farnsworth. ! Mrs. Mary C. Dalley and! family have moved to Cedar City ' Cor the winter, to afford the j opportunity of superior school i facilities. Summit feels 'very1 keenly the loss occasioned by( the absence of Suster Dalley, owing to tho active part which she always took in tho Primary and Sunday Sclwol work, being I naturally endowed for that I special work, s also that of ward chorister. Messrs. Lawrence and Madsen ! have returned from Beaver where they wont to attend the fair. They report an excellent exhibition ot agricultural and horticultural products, tho livestock live-stock exhibit whs splendid and they had an enjoyable time. Sheep-dipping is on in full ' blast now, and 1s scheduled to 'eontinuj until the 20th inst, j thtn and not until then will Summit ronlite a nice, sweet drink of wwter. ; Tho cattle are coming from !the summer range in good j physical condition. 1 The health of the community J is good considering the kind of wator they have to drink. |
