Tho following Is taken from tho Dosoret News: John Alldridgo Evans wns born in Codnr Olty, Utnb, Mnroh 23, 1005, and was thus 11 years of ago nt tho tlmo of liis domiso, tho samo ngo at whioh his father passed away. His father was David Evans, for many yoars pf tho Dosorot Nows staff, and 8tonogrnphor utidor both Pro-ldnnfc Drjgham Young and John Txylor. Mr. Evnns Is survived by his wife, Floronoo Neslou Evnns, nnd a family of niuo, the oldost 18 years of ngo, nnd tho youngost only a fow months old. His mother, Mrs. David Evnns, Is nlso still living, but has been in dolicato health for soveral years. Ho hnsa brother, Richard Evnns, now living iu Murray, aud two sisters, Elizabeth and Isabel. For many yoars Mr. Evans was president of tbo First quorum of Eldors, a position which ho tilled with dovotiou nud Udollty. On April 22. 1900 ho was ordained to tho bisboprlo of tho Eighteenth Eigh-teenth ward, in which wnrd ho had also sorvod as clerk for many years.
