WOMAN frightened TO DEATH grandmother dies when child returns to life butte cal while members of the family fa mily and relatives vere ero grouped about tho the open coffin of mrs airs J R 3 carold car old son friday frida listening to the funeral service the body moved and presently tho the child clad in tta its shroud sat up and gazed about the room his ills wondering uon dering eyes sought those of his grandmother mrs L P smith 81 years old the abed aged woman oman stared at the child as if it hypnotized then she sank into a chair dead As she fell the child dropped back into its coffin from chich it v sas as quickly snatched by the frantic mother A physician hastily summoned eald said there was no hope for the boy and death came a few hours later
