Show EUREKA, TJATH. Miss Annie Sullivan entertained a number of friends at her home Thursday Thurs-day evening. Those who enjoyed the evening were Misses Lucy Clarke, Julia Hannifin, Annie Clarke, N. Louney, Annie An-nie Sullivan: Messrs. John T. Harrington. Harring-ton. P. Clarke, Dan Sullivan, M. O'Neil, J. Sullivan, M. Harrington. P. Sullivan, John Shea. P. Sullivan, John Edger-worth. Edger-worth. Denis Sullivan. Dancing and games were enjoyed by all till the small hours of the morning. Patrick Clarke of Park City is visiting visit-ing his uncle. Rev. P. O'Donohue, and his sisters, Misses Annie and Lucy Clarke. Mr. Eugene Sullivan arrived from Park City the first of the week. (Eureka Reporter, Aug. 29.) Jackson McChrystal, superintendent of the Gemini mine, returned last Sunday Sun-day night from Mackay, Ida., where he went to make an examination of some mining property in which he 1ms recently re-cently become interested. Mrs. James P. Driscoll. Mrs. P. J. Donnelly and Mrs. Pat Shea returned Saturday night from Castilla Springs. . f Rev. Father Murphy of the All Hallows Hal-lows college at Salt Lake was the guest of Eureka friends Saturday and Sunday. Sun-day. - Mrs. Dennis Sullivan and children returned Tuesday from Salt Lake, where they have been for . the past 1 three weeks. The Sisters of the Holy Cross have returned to Eureka and are making preparations to open the St. Joseph's school on Tuesday, Sept. 8. As near as possible all pupils attending this school should be entered upon the opening open-ing day. |
