Show VIRGINIA CITY, NEV. j Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's church today at 8, 9 and 10 o'clock. First mass will be said by Rev. Father M. J. arey, C. S. P.: 9 o'clock mass by Rev. Father O. J. McMullen, and at 10 o'clock a high mass will be sung by Rev. Father Murphy. Tlie mission to be conducted by the Paulist Fathers will be opened by Rev. Father Carey at the 10 o'clock mass, at which he will preach the opening sermon. In the evening the Rev. O. G. McMullen will preach on "Salvation." The Paulist Fathers are well known in this city and are known throughout the United States as men of great oratorical ability and successful suc-cessful missionaries. During the week the order of services ser-vices will be: Mass and instruction at T.:30 a. m.: mass at 8 o'clock, and services ser-vices in the evening at 7:30. Catholics and non-Catholics are cordially invited invit-ed to attend. Daily Enterprise. Mrs. Bridget Pritt died In San Francisco Fran-cisco last Tuesday. Deceased was one of the early residents of the Coinstock and left here about ten.years ago. Sue j was an aunt of the late James Mur- i phy and Julia Muller. |
