Mrs. E. Hanson and Miss Keogh are the ladi's appointed to attend to the altars this week. During the month of October devotion devo-tion will be held every evening at 7:30. On Wednesday and Friday evenings benediction vill b.- given. Miss Katherine Fitzpatrick sang the offertory solo at high mass last Sunday. Sun-day. . -Miss Frances Little, a member of the cathedral choir, has a very fine soprano voice. She was warmly congratulated on her good work last Sunday. Th?i first rehearsal for members of the 11 o'clock choir will be held on Monday. Oct. 2. at the cathedral. The rehearsal will begin at 8 o'clock sharp and members are requested to "get busy" so they will be ready for business busi-ness at 8, not 8:30. - - Sweeping reforms have been made in the choir loft, and last.Sunday pious souls heard the sermons in peace without with-out annoying distractions. , - Rehearsal for th? junior choir is held every Saturday afternoon at 3:30; the young girls practice at 4 o'clock; the little girls., and boys at 3:30. The members of the St. Cecelia choir practice at 9:30 on Sunday morning. '" . . . Miss Jennie Tartar, a charming young lady from Ogd;n and a sweet singer, was the soloist at the cathedral last Sunday everting. Rev. Father Lechner went to Butte last week to attend the funeral of Rev. Father. Keating. f The Sunday school classes are now-well now-well organized .for the coming term and the parents are reminded of their duties regarding the attendance of their children. |
