Mat- , thews. i Through the instance of the Catholic Sun Matthews was taken in charge by , the police department of the city and his windling operations, in this town, i at least, are stopped. i We believe the Fame swindle was carried on in Rochester earlier in the spring, and possibly in other places as well, it is suggested to the Catholic press of the country that a warning against this class of swindler be printed in their columns.
