The table was decoratc-d with a large mound of sweet peas ana ferns. The mairiage of Miss Martha May Coalter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fergus Fer-gus Coalter, and Lewis Charles Brooks occurred Tuesday evining, Aug. 11, followed fol-lowed by a leception fivtm at the home of the bride's parents. Rev. A. H. Woolley performed the ceremonv. Mrs. A. Porter Sinclair has returned after a protracted trip to California and Idaho. Mrs. Frank McGanney and children have returned from a two months' sojourn so-journ in California, and will reside temporarily tem-porarily on Fifth East. Miss Lenora Farrell entertained last Wednesday evening to celebrate her sixteenth birthday. She leaves soon for Goldfield, New Miss Kate McManis of Pocatello, Ida.. Is the guest of Mrs. Don E. Ray, and will be here a week. Miss Lenora Farrell entertained last Wednesday evening in honor of her sixteenth birthday, prior to her departure depart-ure for Goldfield. H. W. Walker,- manager of the Keith-O'Brien company, entertained at his country home a number of the members of the Governor's club and their lady friends Wednesday evening in honor of his sister, Miss Margaret Walker, who is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. F. Walker of San Francisco. The merry party left the city in three large touring cars. A program pro-gram was rendered and light refreshments refresh-ments served. The interior of the house was gaily decorated with the club colors, col-ors, green and gold, and the moonlight ride back to the city was highly en-Joyed. en-Joyed. Those who composed the party were Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Walker. Air. and Mrs. D. F. Walker, Mr. and Mrs. N. P. Rulon Smoot, William Wil-liam Lewis, Denis Murphy, Derrel Brough, Laurie Hayes, Gail Moffat, Bernice Richardson, Cliff Foster, Frank Fowler, Walter Folland and Jack Nay. Mrs. R. R. Hoffman of Challis, Ida., is in the city visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Ryan, 573 Fifth avenue. |
