Show I BOISE. IDA. ( Father Keyzer entertained sixty ladies la-dies Thursday of last week at tea at the home of Bishop Glorieux. It was given complimentary to the ladies who so ably assisted in the bazar work which took place last week. A most charming musical program added to the afternoon. One of the enjoyable social affairs was the pleasant surprise tenderer Mrs. Edwards at the home of her brother, T. Regan, Tuesday evening. Games and dancing made the evening a pleasant pleas-ant one. An elegant luncheon was served. Thirty-six ladies enjoyed the affair. Fully 500 people enjoyed the excellent turkey dinner served Tuesday night by' the Catholic ladies at their, bazar in the Turnverein hall at Sixth and Main streets. All pronounced the dinner par excellence, and the attention shown the guests by the young ladies who waited upon the tables wa, highly commendable. commend-able. The success of the1 supper was largely due to the efforts of Mrs. Hummell, in .whose charge the affair was placed. The booths all enjoyed a good business, which proved a great drawing card, and where many mysterious mys-terious bundles were disposed of only to be opened up for the amusement of the bystanders who watched the purchasers pur-chasers with interest. Many serviceable service-able presents were secured there. |
