Show DELTA : (Correspondence Intermountain Catholic.) Delta, Nov. 26. Divine services at the chapel of St. Juliana on Sundays. First mass at 8 o'clock, second mass at 10 o'clock, followed by benediction and Sunday school. Mr. Fuller of Utah is a visitor of Mrs. T. Ryan. Rev. A. Peitzy attended the conference confer-ence at Leadville. Messrs. Shea and Schaefer will leave for Telluride this week. Mr. McKee and Miss K. and Miss B. O'Rourke are down from Telluride for the winter. Sugar beets are rivaling winter apples ap-ples in point of the number of teams employed in delivery. A new bank has been organized at Delta called the Delta State bank, to succeed the Delta County bank. Mrs. McCarthy, who was very low with paralysis, is again convalescing, to the joy of her husband and friends. 6 Joseph Reche stopped at Delta on his way to Grand Junction, where he intends in-tends to move his home. He was in Telluride for some time. Mr. F. Roth, the agent of The Intermountain Inter-mountain Catholic, was the guest of the Servite Fathers for a few days of the past week. He met with good success. suc-cess. '- The hour of adoration ordered by His Lordship in refutation of the outrage and sacrilege committed in Denver to the Blessed Sacrament, took place in the chapel of St. Juliana last Sunday evening from 7:30 to 8:30. A good number of our people were present, considering the great distance they had ! to come. Mr De Rouche, with family, has come from Minnesota to Delta, where he intends to live permanently. He is, besides a ranchman, an able veterinary veter-inary surgeon and is meeting with marked success. He has already shown his ability in different cases. |
