Show ( BOISE, IDA. j Bishop Glorieux left last week on a trip of ten. days to north Idaho points. Jesse B. Hawley. John Regan. Nicholas Nich-olas Villenue and Jesse Herefurth went to Pocatello Sunday to assist the local order of the Knights of Columbus initiate init-iate a class of thirty. The Knights of Columbus gave a very enjoyable dance last night at Christ ensen's hall, about forty couples participating in the dances. These dances will be given monthly during the winter. John Ivers. a pioneer of Idaho, died last week at his home. 1702 North Sixth street, of dropsy. He had been a resident of this city for fifteen years and had lived in Idaho for thirty-five years. Five of his children survive him. They are Mrs. R. Giese, James Ivers of Boise valley; Mrs. G. M. Corns of this city; Mrs. Julius Myer of Omaha and Mrs. S. Silnion of Omaha. The funeral was held at the family residence. res-idence. Services were held at. St. John's cathedral and interment took place in St. John's cemetery. |
