Show Clildrcn of Mary. Another meeting of the Children of o'clock in the Bishop's residence. Further Fur-ther plans for permanent organization organiza-tion were considered. The following young ladies were selected as counselors; coun-selors; Miss Mae Kane, Miss Nora Gleason, Miss Edith McDonald. Miss Hannon, ; Miss Margaret Finigan, Miss Katherine Kather-ine Graves, Miss Mary Owens, Miss Mildred Cuddy, Miss Fitzgerald. Miss Agnes McMahon. Miss Mary Malyan. Miss Rose McDonough and Miss Sullivan. Sulli-van. Miss M. Mulvery and Miss E. Stewart were asked to take charge of nil mnttpra mnciral Ti'hilo ATicc ATn- Enty, Miss Ida McDonald, Miss Kath-erne Kath-erne Maran, Miss G. McMahan were appointed a special committee to meet and make feel "at home" the numerous num-erous strange young ladies. But each and eery member of the Sodality will appoint themselves a committee of one to do likewise. As only a small percentage of the young ladies already are members of the Sodality, Miss Canning has called a special meetng for Sunday at 10 o'clock. Then arrangements will be made for a solemn reception into the society on the last Sunday in May. On May 15 the young ladies will make their first appearance in a body by receiving Holy Communion at the 9 o'clock mass. Bishop' Sc anlan has Invited them to have breakfast later with the children, who will make their first Holy Communion Com-munion that morning. Miss Agnes McMahon has invited some of those whose fame as needle women has been spread abroad, to her home Saturday afternoon. There they will sew the ribbons for the medals which Bishop Scanlan has so thoughtfully thought-fully ordered for the young ladies. |
