Show ANCIENT IRISH MONUMENTS. Replying in the parliamentary papers pa-pers to Mr. Hugh Law, Mr. Birrell states that amongst the monuments which the board of works has been able to accept the vesting as of sufficient suffi-cient historical, artistic or traditional interest are: Drumbo Round Tower, County Down; Tara Hill, County Meath; Araboe Abbey and Stone Celtic Cross, County Tyrone. Amongst those which the county councils have consented con-sented to being vested in them are Mahee Castle, Round Tower and Church, County Down; Giant's Grave, County Tyrone; Fleming's Folly and Danish Fort, County Cavan. |
