Show KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS NOTES. In the fervor which attends their efforts to attain the goal toward which they have long been marching "Three Hundred in 1910" the members mem-bers of council 602, Knights of Columbus, Colum-bus, have determined to stimulate more than the enthusiasm which ordinarily or-dinarily attaches to the occasion of a third regree exemplification. That the class which will be initiated on November 20th w ill swell the member ship to the required roll is now conceded con-ceded by all who have watched the details de-tails which are daily being added to the program by those having the degree de-gree work in charge. Having the thought of "300 in 1910" uppermost in mind, the officers have reached the conclusion that a date so early as November 6th would possibly prove too short a notice to many who are anxious to join the next class of candidates. Hence a postplnement of two weeks, until November 20th. is expected ex-pected to meet with general favor. Lecturer Fanning's program for the winter months was presented in a tentative form at Tuesday evening's meeting, and gives promise of big days and brilliant nights. The list of festive fes-tive functions is a long one and includes in-cludes socials, smokers, a debate, several sev-eral lectures and an election jolifica-tion. |
