It was decided to adopt the name of St. Lawrence's Social So-cial club and to meet every Tuesday for the present. Father Batens, who is an espical favorite among his people on the hill, donated the use of the school hall, and in this the club Is very fortunate, as the hall Is well equipped for such purposes. The young ladies and gentlemen of the parish are invited in-vited to become members, and as the time will be devoted to social affairs only, a very delightful time Is anticipated antici-pated for the coming winter season, and each member has already decided to make the club a success. Temporary Tempora-ry officers were elected: Mrs. Rose Sealey, president; Miss Elizabeth Fitzgerald, vice president; Miss Mamie McDonald, secretary. A committee was appointed to draft by-laws, and at the next meeting plans for a card party or dance are to be discussed. A good time is assured every member.
