Show CHEERING SIGN IN FRANCE. If the Radical Socialists still constitute con-stitute a majority of the new French Chamber of Deputies, their numerical superiority has been diminished, to the advantage of the pure Socialists and of the ProgessIst3 (the moderate Republicans). Also it is noteworthy that partisans of the ministry, in almost al-most all cases were elected with diminished di-minished majorities, which were in some cases very small. The pure Catholic party preserved its position, and had the Joy to witness the complete com-plete triumph of the principle of the reform of the eltctoral law, with the adoption of the Scrutin de liste and the application of the system for the j proportional representation of minor- i ities.
