In the mine and mill are employed 550 men, whose/ ‘wages amount hah about $40,000 a month. The mill {is now treating 800 tons of ore a day, the average value of which is about #14 a ton . An epoch in the company's career was the installation of the slimes plant, which effects an additional saving of about 50 cents a ton, making available for handling at a profit large reserves of ore which before were not of commercial value.
