Show PLEASANT GROVE TO HAVl? BIG STRAWBERRY DAY THIS SUMMER Picaiwnt Grove will Inaugurate a Strawberry Day which will be an annual event, and if present plans carry out, will rival Brlghara City's Peach Day. This decision was reached at the meeting of the Wasatch Club In the High School Auditorium Saturday evening. A largo crowd was out to hear Dr. W. U Wanlass on the subject sub-ject of tho production and marketing of berries. After tho lecture, a motion carried unanimously to Institute a Strawberry Straw-berry Festival commencing 1922 and running annually from thence on. Tho day promises to be ono ot the Greatest celebration evor held la this city and should within n very short time equal Drigham City's Peach Day. ' The exact date for tho festival has not been decided upon due to the weather conditions, but It will be be- i 'C twsea the ISth and 26th of June. Thero Is possibly 260 acres ot strawberries grown In thlrt district aad they will produce about 300,000 cases of tho most delicious berries thai nature can provide In addition to this from 160 to 260 acres ot raspberries rasp-berries nro grown each yoar making upwards of 150,000 cases each year.
