Show CITY DADS !N REGULAR SESSION Th city council met in regular session Saturday night last, with all members present. Niels Nelsen appeared aad asked that ho receive tho use of tho water this year as ho 'nad previous years. The petition was granted, and the watormastors instructed to conform with the action. Ixe Harper complained that he waa not receiving his proper portion of water, and stated 'that the man whose headgnto was above him should .take 'the water first. I Mr. Adams, of the Utah Valley Gas & Coke Co.( was present and asked tho council's decision on the grant- ing of the franchise Mayor West ex-'plained ex-'plained the action ot the city in this matter, stating that the city favored the granting ot the franchise, but wore withholding permission until other ot-her cities would also graat It.
