GLENCOE Mr. and Mrs. Junius Larsen of Mink Creek visited Sunday Sun-day with Mr. and Mrs. Perry Pearson. Pear-son. Keyth Hansen participated in the MIA dances in the floor show at the Green and Gold Ball in River-dale River-dale Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Marinus Hansen ot Elwood, Utah, spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Chris Hansen. Their daughter, Gertrude, stayed in Preston with Delores and Paul Hansen. The Green and Gold Ball will be held Friday evening March 20 in the ward hall. It is a free dance with the Merlin Smith orchestra. Everyone is cordially invited to at tend. Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Egley and son Bpent Monday visiting George F. Egley and family. The ward Relief Soeiety held their 100th year Centennial celebration cele-bration Tuesday afternoon. The program was in charge of Selma Bergqulst, ward presdent. Two one-act plays were given under the direction of Jessie Westerburg. A song was rendered by Bishop and Mrs. Hyrum Jepsen. A history of he ward Relief Society was read by Esther Westerburg. A record was played with greetings from President Heber J. Grant and President Amy Brown Lyman Refreshments were served. A cake with 100 candles wag display-ad. display-ad. Mrs. Dell Jepsen made It. A quilt made by the Relief Society was bought by Mr. and Mrs. Floyd jrickson. Everyone who attended had an -enjoyable time. |
