Show Educational Meet Planned Here Sunday, May II A conference on education ior Ameiican citizenship will be held in Preston on Sunday, May 11. The conference is sponsored by the Preston and Franklin County schools and a 'committee of representative repre-sentative citizens. About 150 teachers and other citizens are being be-ing invited to participate. The conference has two purposes:, first, to find out what is being done in civic education; second, to deter mine where improvements may be made. The conference is of cue work type and should culminate in specific suggestions of things to be done. The tentative program follows; fol-lows; 2:00-3:0ij p. m General meeting, auditorium.
