A buffet supper was served in the school lunch room, where Mrs. Beatrice Dolan acted as toasrmrs-tress. toasrmrs-tress. Following supper they went to the school recreation hall where they danced for the remaincrer of the evening. Fifty were in attendance. attend-ance. Mrs. Woodrow Butterworth and infant daughter returned home on Friday from a Logan hospital. Those who attended the Lions' Charter Night at Newton were: Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Butterworth, Mr. and Mrs. Bartlett Nash, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Atkinson and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Lowe. Mrs. Bertha Comish entertained the Jolly Neighbors club at her home Thursday. Bridge was played play-ed with prizes being awarded to Mrs. Grant Lewis and Mrs. Bart-let Bart-let Nash. A delicious lunch was served to S members. |
