Show Civic Organizations Of This Area Meet February lO A joint meeting between the Associated Civic clubs of Southeastern South-eastern Idaho and the Eastern Idaho Ida-ho Chamber of Commerce will be held at the Bannock hotel in Poca-tello Poca-tello next Monday, February 10, at 2 p. m., Secretary Charlie Cutler annouiced this week. Ben Johnson, president of the Associated clubs, reports that the drive for support of the national health center at Lava is going rapidly rap-idly ahead and that an interstate committee has been named by tha governors of surrounding states. C. Clarence Neslin of Salt Lake City, state chairman of the infantile infan-tile paralysis foundation in Utah,, has been named to represent that state, Ben W. Henderson of Arimo has been named by Governor Chase Clark to represent Idaho, and C. Watt Brandon has been appointed by the governor of Wyoming. Representatives Rep-resentatives from Nevada and Montana are expected in the near future. |
