Hall halt be appointed appointed appointed ap ap- ap- ap pointed as a constable for the Kan Ken arra Precinct which was done and Mr Hall notified of his duties The application of Gage and anell Odell Anderson of Cedar City for fora a license to operate a lunch and I beer parlor on the highway north of ot Cedar City was approved and I the Clerk Cleric authorized to Issue the license upon payment of the tile 2500 I license fee I A request was made by the State Road Commission that the county deed 1 acre of ground at what Is Js known as the Robinson Well on Buckhorn Flat to the state so that the plot could be Improved and beautified for the Uie benefit of the traveling public The request was granted and the Clerk was authorIzed authorIzed authorized author author- to prepare prepare the deed The Clerk Cerk was Instructed to write to Senators Thomas and King and Representative Murdock and ask ack that they do what they can to have havea a geological survey made of ot mining district of the West end of Iron county The Commissioners also disposed of a large number of tax matters most of which had to do with the sale sate of tax deed property to former form form- er owners However some of ot the property disposed of was sold to U people who had held no previous title The Board will 1111 meet at the Sheriffs Sheriff's office In Cedar City on Wednesday May as a Board of ot Equalization at which time any complaint about 1939 assessments will be heard |
