Show Cedar City Club Entertains Nevada Club Ladies The Cedar City B. B p. p w w. Club entertained twelve members rs of the Pioche Nevada club at luncheon at Cedar Breaks Lodge Sunday dunday The local members and the llie visitors visitors visit visit- ors enjoyed a half halt hours hour's chat around the fire in the spacious fireplace before the lunch At the opening of the lunch period President President President Pre Pre- Lillian Llllian Lunt g gave ve a short address of welcome and then turned turn ed the time over to the program chairman Miss Mamie Mamle Eck The crowd Joined in singing The Utah Trail When Its Nighttime In Nevada and When Its It's Springtime Springtime Springtime Spring Spring- time In the after afler which Mrs Alta Hunter Introduced lo local local lo- lo cal and visiting guests and the twenty one members of the Cedar Club present Mrs Beth Leigh gave a plano piano logue a burlesque on club members members mem mem- bers assisted by the llie Misses Lois Munford Mamie Mamle Eck and Mary Bergstrom The Nevada ladles sang the Nevada State Song and two tWI comic numbers after which Miss Munford Manford Mun Man ford tord sang the verse part of ot the Flying and the group joined in the chorus The ladles were divided into five groups and each group wrote an original poem with VIlli a prize given for the best The Nevada president extended an invitation to the Cedar ladles ladies to meet with the Nevada club sometime In the near future and thanked the llie Cedar group for a splendid party The remainder of the afternoon was spent In driving to Interesting points on the mountain |
