Show L 11 I Leeds L Pioneer Passes Away This Tills morning at Mrs Mr Mary MaryJane MaryJane Jane Olsen 71 71 died at the residence of her ber daughter Mrs Herbert Haight after suffering severely for the past two months Mrs Olsen Olaen was a pioneer of Leeds Utah and passed through all aU the hardships hardships hardships hard hard- ships incident to the early settlement of that section of the state She was born in Salt Lake City In 1861 1801 and in 1889 was married to E. E C. C Olsen at Silver Reef Utah's famous silver aUver mining camp of olden days Mrs Olsen Is i survived by four daughters and two sons ions besides her husband The daughters are Mrs Mayme E. E Colbath and Margaret Haight of Cedar City Mrs Mra Lyle Sullivan Sul Sul- livan Hyatt Hurricane Utah Mrs Mra Hazel Moody St. St George The sons are Glen H. H Olsen and Oeo Geo U. U Olsen of Leeds Utah She Is also survived by 23 grandchildren grandchildren grandchildren grand grand- children and 1 great grand child chUd Brothers and sisters that survive here are Julia Andrus Idaho St. St George Maggie Wolfen- Wolfen stine St. St George and Henry py of Delta Utah Mrs Olsen was wu a devout believer In Inthe inthe inthe the principles of the L. L D D. 8 S. Church and an active worker in the church during a long and active life Ufe Her lIer personality and mate kindness won her the warm love of those with whom she associated For twenty-seven twenty years she the acted arted as postmistress of Leeds Leed thereby becoming acquainted with a Q large number of people all of whom were warmly attached to her The body will be shipped to Leeds for burial funeral services to be held in the Leeds chapel tomorrow afternoon afternoon afternoon after after- noon at |
